Gunstocks' Processing


We have a direct relationship with our suppliers. Our competence and professionalism, allows us to select the best products available on the market. We make sure every time the physical characteristics of the wood are optimal for subsequent processing, we also check that the seasoning process is correct and aimed to maximize quality and not quantity.

With our intervention, the grain of the wood is checked grain, the absence of defects, the low residual humidity. The pieces come therefore divided according to our standards by quality classes and by shotgun categories.

Gunstock Blanks selected and tested strictly avoiding efforts and efforts customers in having to choose a suitable sketch among hundreds of pieces, with us every sketch is super selected and suitable for use for sporting and hunting weapons as it is our custom to check and select the Gunstock Blanks one by one and not in batches without any control quality.

Materials Selection


One of our strengths is the competence in purchasing the raw material, wood: mainly walnut originating from Turkey, Eastern Europe, Asia and North America. Our suppliers subject the wood, freshly cut, to the evaporation process which aims, among other things, to preserve it over time from the attack of insects and molds. The purchase is managed personally, selecting and evaluating each individual piece.

Seasoning
Gunstock Blanks complete the seasoning in our equipped warehouse of the most modern air exchange and maintenance technologies of the ideal environment for this purpose.

Wood Planing
In fixed times our gunstock blanks undergo planing to maintain the linear and immune surface from mould.

Processing and Sanding


Urged by the increasingly pressing needs of the market, we have provided for a rigorous rationalization of production, inserting numerous numerical control work centers, in order to respond quickly to the requests of each customer. As for the sanding phase, we rely on new technologies as well as manual intervention, which is essential to guarantee maximum quality and precision and to complete the finish.
