Gunstock Blanks

Our wood supply is sold in grades. Grade three, four, five and EXTRA grade. As the degree increases, the quantity of streaks and marbling increases. The colors can vary greatly depending on the country or in particular the area where a tree is cut. Each wood is labeled and certified specifying: date, origin, color, degree of humidity and state of conservation

Periodically we go to our suppliers. We therefore make sure that the physical characteristics of the wood are optimal for subsequent processing, we also check that the processing process undergone by the kicks is correct and aimed at maximizing quality and not quantity.
In our warehouses, gunstock blanks undergo various finishing steps; important is the slow drying that gradually brings the walnut wood to a low residual humidity, fundamental for obtaining a finished product of high quality and long lasting.
